Interestingly, during the restoration another patch of broken, chopped bricks was found to the right of the Drawing Room chimney. Similar to the Parlor fireplace, these broken bricks confirmed that the ca. 1764 back room also had a fireplace and that it connected to the same central stack as the Parlor's fireplace.
