Unfortunately, no evidence was left to provide information on what material covered the partitions and no examples of similar materails were found in the house that dated to ca. 1764.  In these rare instances when no evidence of an architectural element survived, the restoration team had no choice but to turn to other historic buildings to find surviving examples from the same time period.
