Designing and reconstructing the missing doorways in the partition was easier since a ca. 1764 door and doorframe survived in the cellar.  Amazingly, the reconstructed partition’s central doorway was discovered to be the same width as the existing ca. 1764 doorway and so an almost exact replica was made for the new partition.  Similarly, the design of the two flanking doorways was based after a ca. 1764 doorway, although the size of the new doorways was adjusted to fit the smaller openings.
