Because the restoration team believe that almost all of the ca. 1764 wall paintings were either removed, papered, or painted over by ca. 1812, they were not restored during the Restoration. However, the room where the wall painting fragments were found has been converted into an exhibit showcasing the restoration process and the wall painting has been left exposed for visitors to see.
